Summer Music Festival Makeup Tips!

Afraid of your face melting off halfway through the festival? Fear not, these tips will prevent any beauty mishaps!

Use less face makeup!

Skip the heavy foundation and opt for a light tinted moisturizer of BB cream and some concealer only where you need it!

Set your makeup!

Make sure you powder! Don't ley any cream or liquid go un-powdered! Use a setting spray for ultra security!

DIY Ombre Shorts!

Materials:

- Shorts or cut pair of jeans
- bleach
- powder clothing dye
- clean bucket (2)
- a pot of boiling water
- salt
- gloves


Time to Ombre!



1.
- Put on your gloves!
- Pour water and bleach into the bucket
- Use 1 part bleach to 3 parts water.
- Dampen jeans
- Place in bleach-water solution for up to 5 minutes (or dab on with sponge for cool effect)



2.
- Rinse jeans in cold water immediately after bleaching
- Machine wash on cold
- Throw in dryer


3.
- Fill your container with one gallon of steaming hot water while stirring in 4 tablespoons of salt and your preferred color dye packet until dissolved
- Submerged the shorts at your lower than your desired length because the dye can run. Make sure to wear rubber gloves
- Repeat until you like the amount of ombre


 
 



4.
- Rinse the dipped fabric in cold water
- Let the shorts dry until completely dry
- Wash the shorts in warm water and dry away from direct heat and sunlight

Summer Music Festival Hair ideas!



Boho Breeze


1. Sleep with your hair in braids the night before the festival

2. Add some volumizing mousse and gel (if your hair is hard to curl)

3. French braid your bangs to your ear and pin to the side of your head or continue a regular 3-strand braid

4. Finish with hairspray (optional) and shine spray (optional)





Sultry Side Braid

1. Add volumizing powder to second day hair

2. Loosely braid your tossled locks to the side

3. Pull out some pieces in the front to frame your face

4. Finish with hairspray (optional) and shine spray (optional)




 

Milk Maid Chic

1. Divide your hair into 2 sections, part down the middle

2. Braid both into 2 loose braids

3. Pull one braid over to the other ear and secure with a bobby pin

4. Pull the second braid over the first one pulling the ends towards the back of head. Secure with a bobby pin.

5. Tuck in your ends under each braid and secure

6. Add more pins if it feels loose and hairspray



 

If all else fails, throw it in  a cute messy pony! fast, easy and no fuss is always nice when you're baking under the hot summer sun!
